SANS cybersecurity retraining programme

Digital Technology

Upskill in Cyber is funded by HM Government and delivered at no cost to candidates. Upskill in Cyber aims to identify and rapidly reskill individuals for roles in cyber security, in just ten weeks.

Student applications are open until Monday 27th June and Upskill in Cyber will run from 4th July – 9th September 2022, whereby approximately 200 individuals who have shown the strongest aptitude in SANS’ rigorous application process will join the programme and undertake two SANS training courses. By the end of the programme, successful graduates will have achieved two industry recognised certifications from GIAC; GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) and GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).

If possible, we’d like your support to promote the programme to two audiences: potential candidates to participate in the programme and to employers who may be interested in supporting the delivery, as well as recruiting graduates at the end of the programme.

Further information about the programme, courses and schedule can be found in the attached Candidate Brochure and flyer, and Employer flyer. Please feel free to share this collateral amongst your networks.

There are several ways for employers to support this programme, including mentorship opportunities, careers fairs, session delivery and sponsorship. Further information can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/sans_training/upskill-cyber-industry-support

If you have any questions about Upskill in Cyber, please reach out to myself or the SANS Programmes team at cyberacademy@sans.org.
