WHO WE ARE

The Bucks Skills Hub drives links between the business community and education/training providers to help young people and adults, at every stage of their career, develop the necessary skills and qualifications to enter and progress in the workplace. Skills development is key to creating sustained innovation, excellence and growth for Buckinghamshire businesses, particularly in priority/growth sectors, as described in our Local Industrial Strategy.

OUR VISION

The Bucks Skills Hub is focused on working with young people and adults to develop the qualifications and skills they need to be successful in the workplace. We do this by promoting and utilising the links between business, the local community and education and training providers.

Whatever stage of life you are at, you could be faced with choices about your future. We provide essential information and resources to make your choices easier, better informed and, we hope, the right ones for you. We believe that developing skills is the most important component to creating sustainable innovation, success, growth and excellence for businesses in Buckinghamshire.

WHAT WE DO

We coordinate several programmes, including an Enterprise Adviser Network and Careers Hub working with schools, the annual Bucks Skills Show, sector-focused employer and stakeholder groups, apprenticeship support for businesses and a Skills Advisory Panel for Buckinghamshire.
