To mark Generation Logistics Week (22–26 June), Logistics UK is offering two engaging opportunities for schools and colleges to share with their learners.

1. Live Broadcast Talk
A one-hour virtual session will take place on Monday 22 June, 2:00–3:00pm. This live broadcast will introduce students to the logistics sector, providing insight into roles, career pathways and industry impact.

2. Virtual Work Experience Placement
A three-day remote placement running from 24–26 June will give students the chance to take part in practical, real-world activities. Participants will:

  • Work on logistics challenges based on real industry scenarios

  • Explore career pathways into the sector

  • Gain insight into the data and digital tools used in decision-making

Applications close on 10 June, so early sign-up is recommended.

These opportunities are particularly suited to students interested in:

  • Engineering

  • Construction, planning and the built environment

  • Travel and tourism
