Free BORN TO MOVE Activity Sessions for Primary Schools

Overview

Primary schools can access a free online library of ready-to-use activity sessions designed to get children moving, supported through a partnership linked to CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity).

The sessions are designed to help schools introduce more physical activity into the day in a simple, flexible way.

What is BORN TO MOVE?

BORN TO MOVE is a children’s activity programme created by Les Mills, designed to help young people enjoy being active through music, movement and play.

Sessions include a mix of:

  • Dance and movement

  • Yoga and mindfulness

  • Martial arts-inspired activities

Each session uses simple movements and high-energy music to keep children engaged and active.

How it works in schools

  • Delivered through an online platform with guided sessions

  • No specialist training required — staff can simply follow along

  • Suitable for a range of ages and abilities

  • Easy to integrate into the school day

Sessions are short and flexible, making them ideal for:

  • PE lesson enhancements

  • Movement or brain breaks

  • Indoor activity (e.g. wet play)

  • Wellbeing and mindfulness moments
