Student loans can put some people off going to university, but there's lots of other types of funding available depending on your circumstances to help you through your degree.

The website Save The Student has compiled a list of different types of student funding, including those based on your personal circumstances or the type of degree you might pursue. Read their article here.

The What Uni? website has also got a searchable database of funding on offer. Use the filters to search by university, course, criteria, nationality, and the types of things that can be funded.

Learning about the different sources of funding available can help you decide whether university is right for you. It's one of the things you can weigh up for the pros and cons of going to university.
