The Bucks Skills Show is back and bigger than ever!

Aimed at anybody looking for a career’s inspiration, the 2022 Bucks Skills Show is back and promises to be bigger than ever!

With over 120 businesses and organisations attending from a wide variety of industry sectors - including Pinewood Studios, Google, MetroBank, Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Cliveden House, Cisco, Buckinghamshire Council and Satellite Applications Catapult - held on the 9th and 10th March at Westcott Venture Park, a venue synonymous with excellence and innovation, the 2022 Skills Show is the first since 2019 to be held in-person.

Marina Jackson, from Buckinghamshire Skills Hub, explains: “The Bucks Skills Show is the largest careers inspiration event in the county and keeps growing each year, helping more and more young people and career seekers discover their best next step. It is a great opportunity for attendees to meet businesses and education providers to help them find a firm footing or next step on the careers ladder.”

Marina added: “COVID-19 has created unprecedented times in the jobs market, and we want to help young people and career changers navigate the many paths available to them from higher and further education to training, apprenticeships and employment. Above all, we want to help every individual understand what’s right for them.”

With over 5,000 visitors across the two days expected at this year’s event, to avoid disappointment it is recommended that visitors book tickets early as tickets are set to sell out quickly.

The Bucks Skills Show takes place on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th March at Westcott Venture Park, Westcott, Near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP18 0XB. The Skills Show will be welcoming school groups across the two days and on Wednesday 9th March doors will be open from 4pm to 7pm to welcome young people and parent carers, plus adults looking to change careers.

The Bucks Skills Show is delighted to have the Rothschild Foundation funding this year’s event.
