The big week is here: National Apprenticeship Week runs from February 9th-15th and presents a great opportunity to learn everytihng you've ever wanted to know about apprenticeships!
The theme of this year's National Apprenticeship Week is Skills for Life. This reflects the importance of 'soft skills' like communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving, as well as skills that come in handy for any job or sector, such as project management, data analysis and leadership.
The week-long celebration is a great time to meet employers and current apprentices to learn all about the benefits of doing an apprenticeship.

There are lots of events to book onto, including in-person events in Buckinghamshire and online webinars.
Visit an Engineering Apprentice Employer
The Engineering Trust is running Employer Open Evenings during National Apprenticeship Week 2026! This exciting event brings together leading engineering employers who will open their doors to showcase the incredible work they do.
One open evening is being hosted by Ercol, which is a family-owned company and a market leader in the manufacture of high-quality solid wood furniture based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. It takes place on February 9th from 6pm to 8pm. Book your place here.

Apprenticeship Conference 2026
Aspiring apprentices, including current students, can explore the power of apprenticeships in shaping future careers at this event at Buckinghamshire New University’s High Wycombe Campus on Tuesday 10th February, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
