UCAS’ Outreach Connection Service has been developed for careers professionals and teachers, offering an efficient and timesaving online tool for you to support disadvantaged and underrepresented students to higher education.
It allows trusted and onboarded providers and third-party providers to showcase their outreach opportunities, so you can connect to the opportunities relevant for your students throughout their discovery journey. Students can formally record up to two activities they’ve completed on their UCAS application under ‘extra activities’.
There is also a training module you can complete, which looks at who the underrepresented groups are, and offer some ways they can be supported to meet their individual needs.
