Associated British Ports (ABP) has launched its first-ever virtual work experience programme, introduced during National Careers Week to inspire young people to explore career opportunities within the maritime industry.
As ABP does not currently offer a structured on‑site work experience programme, this new virtual format provides an accessible way for students and early‑career talent to gain a real insight into what it’s like to work at ABP, regardless of location.

Accessibility & learning benefits
Designed with accessibility in mind, the programme can be completed on a PC, tablet, or smartphone (Android or iPhone). It offers structured learning, industry insight and reflective activities, enabling students to count their participation towards CPD learning.
