Virtual Work Experience Hub

The Virtual Work Experience Hub is an on-demand platform that offers free virtual work experience opportunities, inspiring careers content, and up-to-date information about the local job scene for young people across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The platform has been created by a partnership between Bucks Skills Hub, The Careers & Enterprise Company, Springpod, and Oxfordshire Careers Hub.

The platform features virtual work experience opportunities from a range of employers and sectors. This includes 'Sprint' work experience, which consists of bitesize, on-demand courses based on a real workplace task. Then there's 'Virtual-to-Reality' work experience, which supports people who have gone through virtual work experience and are now ready for an in-person placement.

These opportunities help bridge the gap between education and employment, supporting students as they explore future career pathways.

Thanks to the involvement of local employers and organisations, students can access a wide range of experiences across sectors like healthcare, digital technology, engineering, and aerospace. This initiative removes geographical barriers, making high-quality work experience accessible to all.

Unifrog is also running a virtual work experience week from 29th June - 3rd July 2026.
