National Apprenticeship Week | 5th-11th February 2024 | Multiple locations

The annual celebration of earning while you learn is back and bigger than ever. National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) will see over 1,400 virtual and in-person events take place across the country, including several opportunities to explore whether this alternative to university is for you.Whilst the 2024 lineup is yet to be announced, you can check out this year’s highlights here.

Championing free Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG), National Careers Week helps young people make connections between education and employment at a time in the academic year when they'll be required to make important decisions about the future.

Bucks Skills Show | 6th & 7th March | Stoke Mandeville Stadium

Confident Futures Skills Show | June | Stoke Mandeville Stadium

Every young person should be able to experience careers inspiration, no matter what their background or circumstance. Introducing Confident Futures Skills Show. With inclusivity underpinning every element, this sensory-conscious show will connect job seekers to over 50 disability confident employers and next step providers. GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Green Careers Week | 6th-11th November 2023 | Online

According to a global survey led by Bath University, around 60% of young people are “worried about climate change”. If you’re one of these young people, keep an eye out for Green Careers Week on Twitter. Now in its second year, the national campaign aims to educate the future workforce about emerging technologies and careers that will change the world for the better. You’ve got this.

Theatrecraft | 20th November 2023 | Multiple locations

All the big names in the performing arts – Royal Opera House, National Theatre and RADA to name but a few – will be gathering in venues across the West End for this year’s Theatrecraft. The largest careers event for offstage roles in theatre, the all-access tours are worth the trip alone.

Pinewood Futures Festival | 24th & 25th November 2023 | Pinewood Studios

Budding Greta Gerwigs and Christopher Nolans won’t want to miss Pinewood Futures Festival. From catering and groundskeeping to directing and set design, the event offers anyone looking to break into the film or TV industries a chance to explore hundreds of behind-the-scenes roles through immersive experiences. The downside is tickets are like gold dust, so you’ll have to get on the waiting list for a chance to bag one.
