Stageworks opened in 2003 and established the first government funded fulltime specialist performing arts training courses for post sixteen students. These courses are designed to meet the preparation needs of young people looking to pursue a career in the performing arts industry.
Developing their acting, dancing, singing techniques and confidence to a level where they are ready to audition for higher education pathways, or for some straight out into the workplace. It is essential during this stage of training that every student is nurtured to advance new skills, and extend their strengths
