Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust will be hosting an afterschool careers talk in Thursday 21st September for students to discover more about careers in Nursing and Midwifery.

  • Who - This event will be for students in year 8 and above.

  • Where  - Sir Henry Floyd Building lecture theatre, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, HP21 8AL

  • When – 5-7pm (registration from 4.45pm)

Speakers on the day include–

The direct entry degree route: entry requirements, course structure, application process, interview tips

 

  • Midwifery: Claire Stringer, Midwife Lecturer, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Buckinghamshire New University

  • Nursing: Janetta Baker, Senior Lecturer, Adult Nursing, School of Nursing and Health Education, The University of Bedfordshire
