The Heathrow Employment & Skills Academy is currently supporting Border Force with their recruitment drive to hire 500 new Border Force Officers at Heathrow Airport.

Border Force is the part of the Home Office responsible for securing the UK border 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by enforcing immigration and customs regulations. Border Force Officers find out why passengers from across the world are coming to the UK, decide if they are eligible to do so and stop those who are not.

Border Force offer a starting salary of £29,750 plus shift-working allowances from £10,412.

To bring this exciting opportunity to life for local residents, we are running a Border Force Recruitment Drop-In Session at the Heathrow Employment & Skills Academy on Tuesday 14th March, 10:00 – 16:00.

During the session, jobseekers can drop in at any time for information, advice and guidance on the Border Force Officer role – no booking required.

The full address is The Heathrow Employment & Skills Academy, Newall Road, Hounslow, Middlesex, TW6 2AP (limited parking is available).

Please share this opportunity with your networks and anyone interested in working at the airport. You can view all the roles available through the Heathrow Academy at www.heathrowacademy.co.uk.

Please note that all candidates for the Border Force Officer role should meet the eligibility criteria:

  • Over the age of 18

  • UK citizenship

  • Resident in the UK for the last 5 years

  • Has a 5-year referenceable history
