Join us for the Aylesbury UTC Careers Inspiration Event for the Digital Sector! This is a fantastic opportunity for students and families to dive into the exciting world of digital careers and education. Don’t miss out on this chance to explore your future and get inspired. We strongly encourage everyone to attend and make the most of this informative and fun event!

Wednesday 12th February 2025 5:15 to 6:45 pm

Aylesbury UTC, Oxford Road, Aylesbury Buckinghamshire, HP21 8PB (free car parking on site)

Who should attend?

  • Students, siblings and other family members interested in a career in Digital, Computing, IT

  • All year groups but especially Years 11 – 13 to help with next steps

  • Year 8 and 9 students to help with GCSE options

  • Even if you have attended previous events – there will be more opportunities to gain further information about possible career routes.

Who will be exhibiting?
Digital professionals | IT apprentices | Apprenticeship specialists | Higher Education/ University | Careers Lead

  • CISCO – 3 people from different departments including a previous apprentice.

  • SOFTCAT – Director of the company with a huge breadth of knowledge

  • ALCOM IT – Local Bucks company that provides IT support to various businesses

  • IT Technician support – apprentice and now qualified

  • FE Training – IT Manager

  • BNU university

  • ASK Apprenticeships

  • Bucks Skills Hub

Why should we attend?

Aylesbury UTC’s focus of two career pathways and therefore have specialist knowledge about Careers in Digital. Students will be able to talk to people from different backgrounds about what their job involves. The event will help students with their options choices, for example GCSE, Post 16 and post Sixth Form. A University exhibitor can provide generic advice on UCAS applications, finance and university life. A Career Lead will be available to answer questions.
