The production designer plays a vital role in creating real or imagined worlds on the screen. They are responsible for the visual concept of a film, television or theatre production, identifying the style for sets, locations, graphics, props, lighting, camera angles and costumes.

Learn about this exciting, creative part of the film and television industry from NFTS Head of Production Design, Caroline Amies, whose credits include In the Name of the Father, Ladies in Lavender, Carrington and Miss Julie.

Production Designers come from a wide variety of visual backgrounds including theatre, architecture, illustration, fine art, digital design, interior design and 3D design.

These sessions will take place virtually via Zoom.

Once you have booked your place, you will receive details of how to join the event.
