Once a term the NFTS will open its doors to further education aged students. The aim of this session is for young people to experience the NFTS. These 4 hour sessions will give an insight into studying at the NFTS, include an interactive experience tour of the school and opportunity to meet staff and students. The events are designed to be mixed, therefore allowing multiple groups to attend.

Event Length 4 hours
Event Times 10.00 - 14.00
Maximum Capacity 60 attendees
Group sizes 10 per school/visiting group (more places may be offered depending on availability).
Host Access NFTS: Experience is led by Head of Outreach, NFTS Staff and current students
Venue NFTS Beaconsfield

Timetable Each event will follow the same timetable, however each event will vary in terms which workshops are run. Full details of each event will be promoted in advance.

Intro to NFTS (15 minutes)
Tour of NFTS (30 minutes)
Workshop 1 – Production Design Studio with Caroline Amies Head of Production Design (45 minutes)
Workshop 2 – Model Making Studio with John Lee, Head of Model Making for Animation (45 minutes)
Workshop 3 -  Workshop with Peter Dale, Head of Directing Documentary (45 minutes)
Q&A with current NFTS Students (15 minutes)
Summary and evaluation (10 minutes)
