Open to all Buckinghamshire FE institutions, this is a project where students form groups of up to 5 to create a commercial about what makes their college/sixth from a great place to study.
There is no limit to the amount of students that can take part per institution, however there will be a maximum of 12 institutions that can participate. Each institution will need to select their best commercial to represent them in the final, judged by professionals from the NFTS.
The challenge is designed to give information about the careers involved in making a commercial, including director, producer and editor. Teams will learn about and complete storyboards and will receive masterclasses from the NFTS Head of Directing Commercial course and the Head of Marketing, Distribution, Sales and Exhibition course during the challenge.
The challenge is launched in September each year in conjunction with the Bucks skills hub, supported by schools enterprise coordinators and runs through to January when judging and prize giving takes place.
Full details of the challenge will be sent out in early September 2021. In the meantime, if you would like more information or discuss this challenge please do contact the Head of Outreach via the contact us page.
