Access NFTS will, twice a year, celebrate a particular film, genre or franchise. These events will consist of a series of events looking at careers behind the camera that help with the success of the subject being celebrated. NFTS Staff and Students along with NFTS alumni with links to the highlighted film, genre or franchise will take part in a variety of workshops, presentations and Q&A sessions.

Have a look through information on the exciting upcoming events below. To book your FREE places please go to the Booking Form. You can book for multiple events if you wish. There is no charge for any of these events and they will take place via Zoom. Links will be sent to those booked no later than 24 hours before each event.

No Time To Die
In the lead up to the long awaited release of the latest in the Bond franchise, we will be running a series of events supported by No Time to Die (released on September 30th).

Join us for a series of live virtual sessions where industry professionals from a range of backgrounds will be discussing their careers and experience behind the camera. Come along and learn about the range of roles available, take the opportunity to ask the experts and maybe find your future career! We will also be joined in some sessions by members of the crew of No Time to Die. Just be prepared that they are not able to give anything away about the film before the premiere, so don't expect any spoilers! Details of the sessions are below:

13th September: In Conversation with Casting Directors Jane Arnell and Shaheen Baig

These 2 leading industry professionals will be joined by guests and fellow Casting Directors, Debbie McWilliams and Jemima McWilliams. They have an impressive list of credits between them all, including films such as Gods own Country, Robin Hood, 13 Bond films including No Time to Die and popular TV Series including Giri/Haji, The Bill and Peaky Blinders. 14th September: In Conversation with Chris Lowe, Supervising Art Director on No Time to Die

Chris has also worked on previous Bond films, Spectre, Skyfall and Quantum of Solace along with the live action remake of Dumbo. You can see Chris's impressive list of work on IMDB

15th September: In Conversation with Chris Pow, Head of Sound Design at the NFTS

Chris has led the Sound Design Masters course at the NFTS for over 20 years. Previous to that Chris worked in the industry and you can find a list of his work on IMDB

16th September: In Conversation with Hugo Hansell, Head of Motion Graphics and Titles at the NFTS

Hugo is a highly experienced Graphic designer and has run the MG&T course since 2016. In his career he has developed brand identities for a number of prominent companies within the film and media industries including Protagonist Pictures, Cornerstone Films, Bankside Films, BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) and created many film and marketing campaigns including film posters, print and online advertising, for the likes of the BFI, BBC Films, Film4, Pathé and Artificial Eye. http://hanselldesign.org/

20th September: In Conversation with Puff Pisanwalerd, Senior Compositor on No Time to Die and NFTS Alumni

Puff has also worked on previous Bond film Spectre and High End TV including The Crown, Black Mirror and upcoming series Ms Marvel. You can see Chris's impressive list of work on IMDB

21st September: In Conversation with Adam Arnot, Lead Compositor (Framestore) on No Time to Die and NFTS Alumni

Adam has worked on an extensive list of films including various Marvel productions including Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: End Game. You can see Adam's impressive list of work on IMDB

22nd September: In Conversation with Felipe Olid-Guerrero, Digital Compositor (Cinesite) on No Time to Die and NFTS Alumni

Felipe has worked on films including the live action remake of Aladdin, recent release Black Widow and High End TV shows including Wandavision. You can see Felipe's impressive list of work on IMDB

23rd September: In Conversation with Boyan Baynov, Look DevTD on NoTime to Die and NFTS Alumni

Boyan has worked on many of the blockbuster films of recent years including Wonder Woman and the Star Wars franchise. Along with Bond, Boyan's upcoming work includes Jurassic World:Dominion and Mission Impossible 7. You can see Boyan's impressive list of work on IMDB and ask him what a Look DevTD is.
