Ravensbourne University London - Creative opportunities for young people and teachers

Are you looking for opportunities for students to engage with creative subjects this summer? Registration for Ravensbourne's free summer schools is still open and we have other exciting opportunities for you to share with your students and colleagues: read on to find out more!

Summer Schools for young people aged 16+

We are still open for registrations to our Summer Schools! These multi-day events are free, designed to align with Gatsby benchmarks and run by Ravensbourne university tutors. 

They all take place on site at Ravensbourne University in North Greenwich, London, and should be booked by the young people (aged 16+) individually. Please share the below links with any learners you think could be interested:

24th-26th June: Character Design and Cosplay Summer School 

26th June: Fashion Taster Day

3rd-4th July: Graphic Design Summer School 

9th-10th July: Architecture Summer School 

7th-11th July: Make It! Work Experience Summer School

Accelerate: free architecture course for 16-18 year olds 

Accelerate is a free course for sixth form or college students from under-represented groups interested in careers in the built environment (architecture, engineering, planning, or landscape architecture).

Running from October 2025 to May 2026, it includes 10 Saturday workshops at top universities, site visits, peer learning, mentoring, portfolio and university application guidance, and an optional Arts Gold Award worth 16 UCAS points.

Hosted by Open City and five leading universities, Accelerate boosts diversity and supports strong university applications. Share this link with students to apply before 15th September.

Mo:De festival: free tickets for educators

Hosted at Ravensbourne University London, this dynamic two-day festival on 26–27th June 2025 brings together students, educators, and industry leaders to amplify underrepresented voices and spark new creative collaborations.

Expect inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, and invaluable networking opportunities—all designed to connect emerging talent with industry professionals who are ready to innovate and engage.

Mo:De is a play on Motion Design, incorporating “:” to signify industry and education spheres coming together. As creatives we have many modes of curiosity, perspectives and creative expressions.

This event will provide tutors from schools and colleges the opportunity to upskill their knowledge base in the thriving area of Motion Design.
