Football & NCFE Sport Pathway

New Partnership Creates Pathways Into Elite Football and NCFE at Bucks College Group

Bucks College Group has announced a new partnership with Future Pro Footballers (FPF) Academy, launching at the Wycombe Campus. This collaboration offers students aged 16–19 the opportunity to combine their academic studies with elite-level football training. Through this initiative, a dedicated Football Academy Pathway will run alongside the Level 2 Sports Coaching and Level 3 Sports & Physical Activity programmes, enabling learners to work towards recognised qualifications while developing their football skills in a professional, academy-style environment.

The academy will support the football development of both boys and girls, providing an inclusive route for motivated students to progress in the sport alongside their education. Students accepted onto the academy will train two to three times per week during college hours and will represent the academy in weekly league and cup fixtures. This structure ensures all participants benefit from a competitive and high-quality playing programme.

FPF Academy brings an impressive track record to the partnership. Over the past 24 months, 30 of its players have signed with professional clubs, including Manchester United, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Luton Town, Oxford United, Queens Park Rangers, Fulham, MK Dons, Reading, Tottenham Hotspur, Watford, Stevenage, Arsenal, Brighton, and West Ham United. The academy is led by Director of Football Conrad Mukova, an Official Arsenal FC Scout, who contributes extensive professional insight and talent identification experience.

Posters promoting the programme are available and can be shared with any students who may be interested.

For more information, visit the Sport section of the Bucks College Group website.
