NAW2024: The programme highlights

The seventeenth annual celebration of – you guessed it – apprenticeships is coming up on 5th-11th February, boasting a programme of over 1,400 virtual and in-person events aimed at students with an interest in on-the-job learning.

As ASK’s 2023/24 delivery partner, it’s our responsibility to increase Bucks students’ understanding of apprenticeships, so we’re kicking the festival off with two webinars starring current apprentices in collaboration with Speakers for Schools. The first webinar will reveal everything you need to know about apprenticeship levels 2-4 and is scheduled for Tuesday 6th February, whilst the second on Wednesday 7th February will focus on all things Level 6. Sign up now to watch them live, or keep an eye out for the recordings at a later date.

Other highlights…

Festival of Apprenticeships | 5th February

Who said you can’t prepare for the future from the comfort of your sofa? From discovering opportunities with some of the UK’s biggest companies to guidance on how to apply, the Festival of Apprenticeships’ online careers fair is a one-stop-shop for securing your dream gig.

The Big Assembly | 5th February

For a 360-degree view of the apprenticeship experience, join the 140,000 people across the UK who will be watching The Big Assembly. Former and current apprentices, employers of apprentices, parents and education providers are just some of the perspectives you’ll hear from during the live broadcast.

National Apprenticeship Show | 13th March

Whilst it’s not technically taking place during NAW, we had to mention the National Apprenticeship Show at Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes. This free event offers students a chance to engage with some of the area’s top apprenticeship providers, including the BBC, Mercedes-Benz and TUI.
