Accounting Apprenticeship opportunities at Saffery Champness LLP

Financial and Professional Services

Saffery Champness, a reputable top 20 accountancy firm, is currently providing School Leaver and Graduate apprenticeships in Audit/Accountancy and Personal Tax at their High Wycombe office. These apprenticeships offer the opportunity to work on actual client assignments while pursuing professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant or Tax Adviser.

They are actively seeking dynamic individuals who have a strong passion for delivering exceptional client service, problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork. The firm places great emphasis on prioritizing their people, investing in tailored training and development programs. As apprentices progress, they will have access to partners and technical experts throughout the organization who will provide support.

The company aims to provide apprentices with the best possible start to their careers. Their salary and benefits packages are highly competitive, ranking within the industry's top quartile. Additionally, their commitment to delivering high-quality training is commendable.

For School Leavers: To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of 120 UCAS points in their A Levels (or equivalent), along with a minimum grade B (or 6) in GCSE Maths and English Language.

Upon completing A Levels, apprentices will have the opportunity to earn a full-time salary while working towards a professional qualification. This experience allows them to develop valuable skills, gain practical work experience, and learn from exceptional professionals. Apprentices will be enrolled in a level 7 apprenticeship program. The majority of school leavers typically take around 4-5 years to complete their studies and qualify as Chartered Accountants or Tax Advisers, putting them on an equal footing with their graduate peers.

For Graduates: To be eligible, applicants should have an expected or obtained 2:1 degree in any discipline, along with a minimum of 120 UCAS points in their A Levels (or equivalent), and a minimum grade B (or 6) in GCSE Maths and English Language.

Graduates will be offered a 3-year training contract to become fully qualified Chartered Accountants or Tax Advisers. They will also be enrolled in a level 7 apprenticeship program. Right from the start, graduates will be involved in working with live clients, gaining exposure to and understanding of their businesses. The firm provides paid study leave to allow them to focus on their college qualifications and encourages the application of that understanding to their day-to-day responsibilities.
