Do you have a passion for Technology?
Are you curious about how Tesco uses Technology to help serve our customers, communities and planet a little better every day? By participating in this virtual insight day you’ll get an insight into how the Tesco Technology team works.
We welcome everyone to apply and you don’t need any experience to take part. Open to students in Year 10-13, our virtual insight day will be run online with an interactive workshop in the afternoon. In addition, you will hear from several different teams/job families including engineering & programme management and see first-hand what it’s like to work in a technology department.

Workshop highlights include:
· Introduction to the breadth and scale of Tesco Technology
· Introduction to various job families within Tesco Technology
· Taking part in an interactive challenge
Please note:
· Students who have not previously had work experience, do not have access to other opportunities (such as via parents) and qualify for FSM or Pupil Premium are especially encouraged to apply
· Students will need to be able to access the online classroom (details to follow) from 10:00am – 16:00pm.
· Be sure to read all the details as applications will be selected based on enthusiasm and open-mindedness for this specific opportunity, organisation, and industry.
· Students will need to submit their work during the interactive workshop – either by uploading a photo of paper-based work, or by working on a file on a laptop or tablet and uploading the result.
· Students will benefit from having a working webcam during the small group sessions of the interactive workshop.
