Do you need inspiring online Space & Astronomy content?
Chris Joly has been delivering online presentations on all things “Space” to schools and colleges throughout 2020/21 join Chris and the STEM NOW team for a Masterclass on Black Holes. Black holes must surely be one of the most bizarre phenomena known to humankind. Chris will give a talk about Einstein's Theory of Relativity, which led to the discovery of black holes, and the later work of Stephen Hawking who did much to get their existence accepted by deeply sceptical astronomers.
Chris will also talk about how they are detected and what we have learned about them in the last 50 years, rounding off with a look into the future of astronomy.
P.S. Chris will not be showing any formulae!
This event is for Teachers/Educators and Approved STEM Ambassadors
